Psychotherapy is a powerful tool that can help us live more satisfying lives. It inspires us to reconnect with our innate restorative abilities, and opens our minds to new perspectives and skills. For over 20 years I have enjoyed providing discreet and confidential support to couples, individuals, and families striving to advance their personal development. I am an interactive therapist who works collaboratively with clients, whether the goal is to engage in brief, solution-focused treatment or more in-depth healing. I have expertise in relationship issues, self-awareness, addictive disorders, infidelity, parenting, blended families, separation and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and professional stress. I have been trained in a variety of evidence-based psychological theories, neurobiology, human development, and therapeutic modalities in order to offer clients the most appropriate interventions and tools for their specific needs (see "Trained In" list at right for more information). I also draw from my own experiences conducting research in Attachment Theory - a psychological, evolutionary and ethological theory concerning relationships.
The ability to establish trust and a sense of connection with your clinician is essential to achieve the maximum benefit from therapeutic work. I recommend that people fully explore their treatment options to increase the chances of working with a clinician who offers the most appropriate approach for their unique journey.
I offer free Telehealth or telephone consultations so you may determine if my training, experience, and clinical approach will be a good fit for your specific needs. Schedule a free consultation - or a fee-based initial assessment - using the appointment link below:
