FEES & PAYMENT: Fees vary depending on the types of services I provide. I do offer a small number of sliding scale fee slots. We will discuss fees during the free initial consultation. Payment is collected at the end of each service, unless monthly billing arrangements are made in advance. I accept payments via IvyPay, Venmo, PayPal, Square, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and personal check.
CANCELLATIONS: Sometimes life happens ... Should you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full fee for a missed session or late cancellation.
INSURANCE: I made the decision not to join any health insurance panels to provide a higher level of privacy for my clients and avoid third-party restrictions that may limit or interfere with our work. I provide monthly superbills upon request to assist in seeking reimbursement when health insurance covers out-of-network providers. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, so it is important to check your coverage carefully before beginning treatment by asking your insurance provider the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval or a referral required from my primary care physician?
